It’s day one of the Global Flight Simulator Challenge, raising
money for disabled flying charity Aerobility to buy their own state-of-the-art
disabled adapted flight simulator to help train disabled pilots. Over the next
ten days, a hundred pilots and celebrities will be flying the simulator around
the world to raise money for Aerobility, and pick up a new Guinness World
Record on the way round!
Today’s flights start from our Blackbushe UK base, through
France and on to Italy. Navigating from Paris to Toulouse, then east to Nice
and across the Mediterranean to Rome misses out the Alps – and a lot of unpredictable
mountain weather too.
